Zoe Hancock, appointed Principal in March 2011, joined Oaklands College as Deputy Principal in 2008. Oaklands College is a general further education college in Hertfordshire with campuses at St Albans and Welwyn.
Prior to this, Zoe worked at The British Museum as Director of Planning and Projects, and was involved in many successful projects including the development of a new web-site, the establishment of a China strategy leading to the successful First Emperor exhibition and the development of a new estates strategy for the Museum.
Zoe has worked previously at Macmillan Cancer Support and at PepsiCo. Zoe qualified as a chartered accountant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers after achieving a first class honours degree in Modern History at Merton College, Oxford University.
