Mark Bretton is a managing director at leading global professional services company Accenture. He joined the Board as Business Representative and Chair Designate in 2016 and took over from John Gourd when his five-year tenure as Chair came to an end in June 2016.

Peter O'Gorman is Regional Director of Santander Corporate Bank, with leadership responsibility for the four counties, one of them being Hertfordshire. For the past 18 years Peter has supported business growth across Hertfordshire, working with numerous companies.

John Gourd, Johnson Matthey
John Gourd is the Site Planning and Services Director at Johnson Matthey in Royston. He is also a director of the Royston First Business Improvement District Company. John has been a Board member of the LEP since its inception and took over the Chairmanship in July 2011 before stepping down in June 2016. John remains on the LEP Board as Business Representative.

Councillor Sharon Taylor OBE, Stevenage Borough Council
Cllr Sharon Taylor is leader of Stevenage Borough Council, a position she has held since 2006. She is Deputy Chair of the Local Government Association and is Deputy Leader of the Local Government Association Labour Group (since 2008). Cllr Taylor joins the LEP Board as District Council Representative for the A1(M) Growth Area.

Andy Stroomer has over 30 years experience in the space industry working for Airbus Defence and Space (formerly Astrium) in both satellites and related service businesses. He joined the LEP Board as Business Representative in 2016.

Dan’s career is rooted in the film industry where he started in production and then moved into special effects. Having been based in Leavesden for some 20 years, Dan has played an active role in the community. Dan is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

Graham is the founder and major shareholder of Cheeky Munkey Limited, an IT support company based in St Albans. Most recently Graham has also taken the role of Chair of the Economic Sustainability Partnership for St Albans and is the Vice Chair at Oaklands College.
