Andrew Percival is Managing Director of UPP Projects Ltd (part of University Partnerships Programme) where he is responsible for the origination of high quality, affordable, student accommodation, academic infrastructure and support services. UPP employs over 700 people managing more than 30,000 rooms in operation or development across 14 UK Universities.
Prior to joining UPP Andrew was a Director of VINCI UK Developments Limited where he was responsible for VINCI’s involvement in the Redevelopment of New Covent Garden. The scheme involved the modernisation of the 40 year old wholesale market in Nine Elms funded via the delivery of a series of mixed use developments on surplus land. Across the entire scheme 3,000 homes will be built along with shops, cafes, bars and offices. He is a Business Representative on the Hertfordshire LEP Board and currently Chairs Stevenage First.
Prior to working within the construction industry Andrew enjoyed a successful career in the Royal Navy, culminating in the Command of HMS COTTESMORE.
Andrew qualified with an MSc in 2007. Married, with a young family, he enjoys a variety of sports and leisure interests.
