Hertfordshire County Council seeks the views of business on its budget.

Hertfordshire County Council seeks the views of business on its budget.

Over the next 3 years Hertfordshire County Council needs to reduce its budget by £100 million. This is because of a reduction in the amount of money it receives from central government combined with greater demand for services.

Given the financial challenges HCC faces, it needs to make some important decisions about how to allocate money and it wants your views.

Whilst HCC priorities will remain to be as efficient as possible and prioritise available money on front-line services, it is clear that difficult choices will need to be made in order to make these significant savings. HCC welcomes businesses’ views on the approach it should take to meet this objective.
