We're lighting the way for apprentices!
The Pass the Torch campaign and employer challenge is part of the Government’s commitment to reach three million apprenticeship starts by 2020.
The torch began its journey at the National Apprenticeship Awards in London on 26 January and appeared at the launch of National Apprenticeship Week 2016 (#NAW2016) in London on Monday 14th March.
Now Hertfordshire is building on the momentum of #NAW2016! The Olympic-style torch will be arriving in the county on 23 March to promote apprenticeships to employers and training providers.
The torch, which symbolises the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next, will be making an appearance at the Build your future talent pipeline event on 23 March, aimed at encouraging employers to pledge their support for apprenticeships.
