07/02/2013

Since 2010 the LEP has been working with Hertfordshire County Council to secure superfast broadband access for the county’s businesses.

Now, well over 9000 people from across the county have registered their interest in the Superfast for Herts scheme and if your current broadband speed doesn't meet your needs you can do something about it today by clicking here.

Registering your demand for superfast broadband will only take a couple of minutes and won’t cost a penny. You’re simply helping us demonstrate to broadband providers that there is a demand for superfast connectivity here in Hertfordshire. If you are unable to register online please call 0300 123 4040

We believe improving Hertfordshire’s internet access will have a positive impact on infrastructure and make the county a more attractive proposition for both start-up and existing businesses. Improved internet connections could also prove an added incentive for organisations looking to set up in the area.

For this reason the LEP is investing time and money to ensure that as many of Hertfordshire’s business parks are equipped with Superfast broadband as funding will allow; enabling them to compete with competition in other parts of the county and over

Small and medium sized businesses also have a key role to play in unlocking the economic potential of improved broadband access within the county. You can have a genuine influence so please take the time to give us your views.

Register your interest here before March 15 to make the most of this opportunity to secure ‘Superfast for Herts’
