Young people aged 16 upwards considering a future career in science are invited to attend Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst’s (SBC) first careers evening on 23 June from 5pm.

The Schools to Science Park fair is an ideal opportunity for young people considering their future options to talk to and watch presentations from industry experts, universities, colleges and professional bodies about the routes into their chosen career and the range of jobs available.

Among the organisations attending will be:
• The Royal Veterinary College,
• University of Hertfordshire,
• University of Cambridge,
• University College London,
• Royal Society of Chemistry,
• Institute of Biomedical Sciences,
• Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences

What is life like as a scientist? 

Apprentices from GSK will give students an insight into what life is like as a scientist along with the opportunity to speak to SBC’s on-site scientists pulled from its community of entrepreneurial start-up life sciences companies.
