Enterprise and Innovation Board

The Enterprise and Innovation Programme Board is responsible for developing and monitoring activities which contribute to the delivery of the LEP’s vision of "accelerating business-led economic growth". Read our latest Economic Outlook.

We have a package of measures to:

• make it easier for established small businesses to access private and public business support to enable them to fulfil their growth potential via the Hertfordshire Growth Hub.

• remove barriers to growth by promoting opportunities for knowledge transfer, international trade and access to finance.

We are also developing a revised inward investment approach through partners, and are working with Hertfordshire County Council to improve the tourism offer for the county.

The Enterprise and Innovation Board meets quarterly and is chaired by LEP Board member Graham Lane, founder and major shareholder of Cheeky Munkey Limited.

Enterprise Europe Network East of England also prepares a brief overview of over 60 different sources of finance and related topics including Banks, Grants, Loans, R&D tax credits, UKTI support and much more every month.
