Plans for new modern facilities at West Herts College's Dacorum campus are taking shape. This brand new College site will be home to existing courses, plus many new opportunities for people of all ages when it is due to open in Spring 2017.
Hertfordshire LEP has invested £5m to help upgrade facilities at West Herts College as part of its Growth Deal from Government.
The funding will help deliver a 90,000 sq. ft. landmark campus building and a training skills programme tailored to the requirements of local employers.
West Herts College Principal Gill Worgan, who represents the Higher Education sector on Hertfordshire LEP's board, said the campus at the heart of Hemel's town centre is being "built to develop the skills our young people need for the modern jobs market".
