A new digital service has been launched which aims to make it easier to search, register and apply for an apprenticeship.
The Find an Apprenticeship service is designed for mobile phone users, has enhanced keyword and location search and a ‘My applications’ dashboard for candidates to easily track applications.
Candidates using Apprenticeship Vacancies (AV) for the first time will be redirected to the new service; those that have previously registered with AV will be asked to sign in to the original service to track the progress of their applications.
The two systems will run in parallel until March 2015 when all candidates applying for an apprenticeship and traineeship will do so through the new service and not through AV.
