The Envoy Programme is made up of a small and select cohort of influential business leaders covering a wide range of industry sectors. The Envoys work with the LEP by bringing their expertise to help identify and solve key issues for the county and act as external advocates for the LEP to Government, industry and inward investors. In return, Envoys can help influence future LEP priorities and join a prestigious network of like-mided peers that work together to find creative solutions to local challenges.
The Programme Chair is Mark Coppen, Director of Commercial and Corporate Banking at NatWest. View more information on the Programme and our current list of Envoys here.
Norman Jennings, Skills and Employment Manager, outlined some of the key issues affecting staff recruitment and skills development in the county. The slides are available to view here.
