Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is seeking four business leaders to join its main LEP Board and help to accelerate economic growth and job creation in the county.

Candidates must be from a business currently undertaking professional, business or other commercial activities with a view to profit within the Herts LEP area and must not be from a representative organisation.

Neil Hayes, Executive Director of Hertfordshire LEP, said: “The Board plays a critical role in helping to shape the vision and priorities for economic development in the county. We have been extremely fortunate to have had such high calibre business representatives on our Board and I would like to thank them for their tireless work in helping to drive forward growth and secure future investment.

“These vacancies present an exciting opportunity to join the LEP as further devolved power from central government means that LEPs will play an even more important role in helping to shape the local economic agenda.”

Board Members are unremunerated and are elected to stand for a three-year period. This can be extended to a maximum of six years in order to refresh the membership of the Board on a regular basis. View the current LEP board here.
