The LEP is proud to be a Forces Friendly employer in receipt of a Bronze award recognising our support for the Ministry of Defence Armed Forces Covenant.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that ensures those who serve or have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly and with respect within their communities. The Covenant provides members of the armed forces with access to services offering support across a number of areas including housing, education, well-being, healthcare, career-development and more.

On 24 May, Hertfordshire LEP accepted a Bronze award as part of the Ministry’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, which recognises organisations that have pledged, demonstrated or advocated their support to the armed forces community and have aligned their values to the Covenant.

Hertfordshire LEP Deputy Chair Adrian Hawkins received the Bronze award at a ceremony at Knebworth House on 24 May.
