Hertfordshire LEP invites private, public and not-for-profit organisations to apply for up to £15m capital grant funding to deliver economic development projects in the county.
The LEP is looking for projects that, as a minimum, help deliver at least one of our four strategic priorities, namely:
• Priority 1: Maintaining global excellence in science and technology
• Priority 2: Harnessing our relationships with London and elsewhere
• Priority 3: Reinvigorating our places for the 21st Century
• Priority 4: Creating the foundations for growth
Outputs and outcomes
All projects must commence in 2019/20 to be eligible for funding, and must demonstrate that they will deliver housing, employment, business development or skills outputs. Outputs must be realistic and deliverable over a period of 2-5 years following completion of the capital spend.
Outcomes look at the wider impact of the project and in particular, how it will have a beneficial impact on growing the Hertfordshire economy, for example, improving the employment prospects in a defined locality. We will be looking for projects that deliver outcomes as well as outputs.
How to apply
You will need to fill in a LEP standard funding application form and appendices spreadsheet. These documents can be found in the LEP Applicants' Pack.
Applications must be received by the LEP no later than 12.00 noon on Monday 26th November 2018. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered. Applications are to be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your application will be acknowledged.
If you have any questions about the application form or this process please contact Gemma Fulton, Project Development Manager at email@example.com, telephone: 01707 358749, mobile: 07464 678768.
We are happy to consider and comment on a draft application provided it is received early in the call period. Please use this opportunity, as it will save the LEP asking clarification questions later on in the approval process. Requests for comments on draft applications less than week before the application deadline will not be considered.
