The University of Hertfordshire has won two awards at the National Enterprise Educator Awards (NEEA) recognising its commitment to support student and graduate entrepreneurship.
Awarded for excellence in enterprise
As the only institution to be nominated in three categories, staff and student teams from the University were awarded for their excellence in enterprise on Thursday 13 September at the International Entrepreneurship Educators Conference (IEEC) in Plymouth. Team Venture, led by University academics, won the Enterprise Educators award for transforming the enterprise curriculum and the Herts Entrepreneurs, a student led enterprise society, won the Student Educators award for supporting peer learning and development. The Enterprise Team also received a highly commended award in the Enterprise Society Champions category for supporting, growing and engaging their student enterprise societies.
