Programme Boards

The three Programme Boards play a vital role in supporting our key priority areas.

Introduction

The primary purpose of the Programme Boards is to consider and prioritise project concepts and to make funding recommendations to help the main LEP Board’s decision making.

Programme Boards are chaired by current or previous LEP Board members, with representation from the wider businesses community to focus on their programme’s area of expertise. All LEP Board and sub-Board members are unremunerated as they give their time on a voluntary basis.

The three Programme Boards include:

  • Enterprise and Innovation Board
Chaired by LEP Board member Nitin Dahad (Aspencore)
  • Skills Advisory Panel (previously known as the Skills and Employment Board)
Chaired by former Deputy Chair of Hertfordshire LEP Adrian Hawkins OBE (Weldability SIF; Stevenage Development Board; biz4Biz)
  • Enterprise Zone Partnership Board
Chaired by LEP Board member Richard Whitehead (AECOM)

A full list of Programme Board members is available on the Register of Interests page.
