The role has emerged as a result of Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership successfully securing significant funding from the Department for Education to offer a range of Skills Bootcamps to complement our Hertfordshire Opportunities programme (HOP) and sector skills work including ‘HOP into Film and TV’.
The post-holder will play a pivotal role in managing the delivery of local Skills programmes and will join an enthusiastic and friendly team, proudly providing specialised training and skills development in Hertfordshire.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You may be overseeing contracts and agreements with stakeholders one day, and ensuring compliance with regulations and KPIs the next. You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for addressing challenges or disputes, preparing reports, monitoring standards of service, liaising with educational institutions and training providers, and attending meetings to ensure project deadlines are met.
We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, can think outside the box and is passionate about the ensuring the success of the Skills Bootcamps programme in Hertfordshire. You will have a project management qualification or equivalent experience, an ability to influence and manage internal and external stakeholders, the ability to take on line management responsibility, and ideally, an understanding of contract delivery.
